Graduation Rate

91%
ABOVE AVERAGE

Athena Career Academy graduation rate is above the national average.

91% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Athena Career Academy completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

I've been calling and calling, leaving messages after message!!!! For weeks with not one returned phone call! I attended here in September, I became ill and was dropped from class due to them not accepting my documentation! I now owe 4000 bucks for the 3 weeks of school I attended! I was willing to pay the money to return to school, but no one will reach back out to me to take me through the steps! This school is showing their lack of compassion for their students. I honestly feel that I shouldn't return here it's really discouraging, and sad!

First and for most I want to say THT this is a nursing school THT doesn’t stand up to their mission/ vision statement ok. I made a review in which I gave no stars due to them not deserving one but the review isn’t seen unless u rate so I wish there was a 1/2 a star I could give .Let me start off by saying I’m a LPN of almost 10 years ok I graduated from TSPN Toledo School of Pratical Nursing on North Superior and was interested in the program at Athena spend well over $300+ dollars to portal my license and required documents they asked for to be accepted. The original person I was assigned to went on a personal leave in which I had a staff member who was very very empathetic of my concerns after telling me that I could attend lectures but I couldn’t attend clinicals and would FAIL I was astonished. Made several attempts to talk to her on a solution or alternative way to have clinicals at least transfered never got a call back even did the chain- of - command well let’s say MANAGERS!!! still no results after a month I was able to talk to the empathetic staff member on retrieving my documents I paid for and wanted to set a date and time to return and get documents was given a time and made me wait 41 min in lobby to get paperwork after telling me be there at 10am this school plays with the livelihood of their students yes women and men who make sacrifices in achieving a career are not taken seriously!!! I know for a fact that the founder/owner of this business doesn’t care about the pros or cons of the business nevertheless the students THT pay on a month to month basis I sincerely GOOD LUCK to all of YOU the owner doesn’t realize students registration keeps u a FLOAT!!! BAD experiences travel a longer distance than GOOD experiences
