Graduation Rate

Arkansas Beauty School-Little Rock graduation rate is above the national average.

59% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Arkansas Beauty School-Little Rock completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Arkansas Beauty School-Little Rock

Overall Rating:

For the day I went, it was not as busy as other beauty schools I've been to and I can see why after my first experience recently. Most of the students were just sitting around chatting away with no clients. The overall look of the inside could be better. I sat in a wobbly chair. I got my nails done and they were okay but could have been better. They could have been made to look more like a professional job and not an at home job by simply cleaning up the edges. They should probably watch some Youtube videos to get better at making nails look professionally done. I probably won't return.

Overall Rating:

By far the absolute WORSE school experience I have ever had. When I attended school, I had literally 3 teacher for a six month course. All with different teaching styles to add insult to injury the last teacher quit so my last few hours was spent without a teacher. In total of my 6 months- about 4 weeks had no teacher. I was in the esthetics program which despite it having great potential the school was not prepared for. Half our machinery we did not get in until a month before I left. Most of my teachers didn’t know how to use it even then. After graduating like most of us do, I owed a balance. My loan did not cover it all. I constantly get emails about opportunities to work to help clear a balance, however when I reach out I never get a response. The ONE time I did get a response it was via text from an app to return my PHONE CALL! It’s beyond unprofessional but a recurring theme none the less of the school.Save your money for a place that values you as a student, a customer, and an individual with a dream. This is NOT the place

Very unprofessional and struggled with time management. I was first and sat and waited 40 minutes for a simply shampoo that I never received. Very frustrating.

After completing the Nail Technician program and obtaining my license, I was able to secure a job at one of the top day spas in Little Rock. I've been there for 2.5 years now and I'm currently enrolled back at Arkansas Beauty School to get licensed as an instructor. The staff are willing to work with you when you are going through difficult times, and they genuinely care about you and want to help you become successful!
