Graduation Rate

Anoka Technical College graduation rate is below the national average.

27% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Anoka Technical College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

Overall Rating:

Just joined the COTA program and am loving it. Very nice teachers who really care about our sucesss. It's a lot more work than doing generals but if you know what you want to do it's worth it!Biggest downside to the college is their advising and financial aid staff can be very unhelpful at times and bounce you around from person to Person with no good answers..I have gone to financial aid window a few times and been given a flyer or sent to the bookstore..very frustrating and not helpful. I went to Anoka Ramsey for generals and they had a much better more personal and clear system for helping students. But once all that got figured out I've enjoyed all of my teachers and classes.

Rude teacher their aim is to embarrass student in the front of other student teacher is basically playing school bullying . Some of the People we work with within organization brought us videos of the class which portray the way the student have been abused and Bully by professor .horrible place I don't recommend for anyone to go here.

Overall Rating:

People who work in the financial aid department are incompetent. For the outrageous price of college, signing up should be a fairly smooth process but the terrible communication from the financial aid department makes things almost impossible. Take a look at your staff, it really is pathetic how a person can't get an email back or a phone call.
