The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Anne Arundel Community College is 18:1, that means that for every 18 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Anne Arundel Community College
Altogether, I would give a 4.5 rating. The only bad experience I have had was when I first went to admissions at the Arundel Mills location and had the worst experience. The ladies were rude at the front desk and assumed that I speak "admissions or college" terms as a person who has never attended college before. And when I asked questions, two of them at the front would show facial expressions of irritation which made me feel uncomfortable. So, unfortunately they are the painted faces of the school. Other than that, since I have been attending classes for 2 semesters, the professors are great and help whenever and wherever help is needed.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I enjoyed getting my Associates degree here. About to receive my BS degree. Best decision I made was starting at AACC. Great place to be!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Staff help you out so much. You just have to be smart enough to ask for help from the professors. But the activities are lacking and I wish it felt like a community rather than you by yourself.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I had the Worst EXPERIENCE EVER attending AACC.. Coming Fresh out of high school and attending this school all I got was negativity! I would definitely say don't attend They don't even warn you that they will charge you if you miss a day ! Never again!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The school itself is great but, some of the staff seem like they don't care.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
