Graduation Rate

American Academy of Cosmetology graduation rate is above the national average.

61% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to American Academy of Cosmetology completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for American Academy of Cosmetology

Overall Rating:

Overall Rating:

To the owner of this organization, Carla the instructor needs to be fired. She is incompetent of handling the responsibilities of her job. Very poor customer service and listening skills. She is not representing your organization the way you hired her to. It looks like you are attracting talented students but Carla is running paying customers away. Not good for your bottom line. Until the owner take care of this situation don't waste your time or energy. Beware.

I had an amazing experience here. I asked Brooke for highlights and got exactly what i wanted. She did an amazing job & i’m so happy with the outcome. I would have paid twice the money to get this done again. If you want gorgeous highlights, go to Brooke Green!! You won’t regret it!! 😍❤️

Overall Rating:

I got my hair done today at AAC by Kristal G. It was such a wonderful experience. Kristal was so pleasant to talk to and so professional in her approach to bringing back the vivacious redhead. Also, thank you to Brooke for the haircut! I feel so much better about myself. I was impressed by how knowledgeable the Instructor Mrs. Wright was and how she truly enjoyed sharing that knowledge with her students. AAC is blessed to have such a wonderful educator and group of wonderful young men and women as students. I will definitely be back.
