The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Aesthetics Institute of Cosmetology is 10:1, that means that for every 10 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Aesthetics Institute of Cosmetology
I’m a recent graduate from this school. I loved this school, the director and teachers are wonderful. You will learn all types of skills, and deal with all types of hair texture. This school is very beneficial, I even landed a salon job 2 months before graduating. I highly recommend!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I was a student starting in 2003, for personal reasons I had to leave to come back in 2015 and again had to leave. Now I am back 2016 and intend on finishing. I have known the owner for many years she has put up with a lot of nonsense over the years and sure some students can a pain in the arse BUT I don't go there for them, I go to accomplish want I've always wanted to do and that means no one will get in my way of finishing. Read your books, study, use the vast knowledge of the Internet, ask your teachers any and all questions, ask for demonstrations because at this time the school has some outstanding instructors, Emily and Angela to start in which I have the pleasure of being taught by!So if you want something go for it instead of complaining about this and that. The last few years have really produced some whinny moronic instant gratification monsters! Instead of taking responsibility for their own actions they hide behind the Internet and try and ruin a decent business in which they will never have Ms. Laila Hamdan is providing anyone who wants to learn a solid profession, people fail to mention it takes 1500 hours and some people simply cannot hack it because it's time to put on your grown up pants and earn something that YOU really have to work for! Bottom line, good teachers great owner, clean place, excellent location, cost effective/Gov grants available, including (Pell Grants) the new kits are awesome! In my opinion Ms. Laila Hamdan is still going strong with this school and I am grateful that it is still around. A gracious thank you to Ms. Laila Hamdan and all the teachers! I am a former student/license Nail Tech from this school and I have gotten my hair done there on many occasions, it is not as bad of a rating as some people have given them.Best of luck to the owner and students, continue to strive and thrive and shine in doing hair, nails, an Estheticians in making up those faces...I also have a Master degree in Information Systems and a Bachelors in Business. Native Washingtonian (Wash DC) born and raised but a Mo County resident for the last 30 yrs....kudos Ms lalia if you have managed to open up another shop.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I am a customer there. Mayra is the stylist that did my hair. She has graduated. I hope I can find someone else there that will be to my satisfactory. The service there is meteocre at best.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
My wife called ahead to try to schedule an appointment for service. She was told they didn't do appointments and to just swing in anytime they are open. She checked in at 4:15pm to get some highlights done. The lady in charge had her sign in and told her that there's a staff change at 5pm and she wasn't sure the highlights would be done by 5pm so we were asked to come back at 5.When we returned, the new lady in charge told us that we weren't signed in and would have to wait another hour before getting started. We informed her that we had already signed in at 4:15. She said that sign in sheet was gone and so was the other lady so too bad for us. We can wait or come back some other time.We won't be coming back ever. We hope you won't let them waste your time either. There are better businesses to support.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
