The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

I would give ZERO STARS if i could. I got a gel manicure ( manicure here obviously means massaging hand with lotion) The gel started to peel off in 20 mins. As a person who knows how to apply gel nail polish i can say that she didn't know anything about it (she left my nail plate oily, applied thick layers and applied on cuticles how can you expect it to last!?) anyway, they are students i get that but they damaged my nails so badly that it hurts. The student kept complaining about how she had been working for 11 hours which isn't a good attitude to have. AFTER 2,5 HOURS when the student couldn't blend the glitter she called for her teacher and the teacher said "Well we are about to close we don't get to be picky here'' Excuse me!????? No wonder they make you pay up front. Nasty place!

Overall Rating:

When I went here I was insulted because of my natural hair which had to be washed 5 times. And the student who did my hair was had to work on my hair an extra 30 MINUTES after closing time. If you have natural hair, I suggest you should not come here. I got heat damage because of how much heat that was put in my head. I also had to cut my hair because of the extreme split ends that were created. Not only were they bad at washing and straitening my hair, but they were very rude, and the instructor/ teacher was in the break room not even helping her students on the phone and eating. Overall a bad sallon that I will not be returning!🖕🖕🖕👎👎👎

I went here a few months ago and had a Student named Gina. Showed her a few pictures and I have to say it was one of the few times in my life that someone did my hair the way I asked. She really went over and above trying to make me happy and asked for help when she needed it.. Which I appreciate. I feel confident in having her do a color next visit.. Can't wait..

the 2 star are for the girl who did the olaplex treatment on me, she deserves more, but got quite upset about the fact that on your website you adverticed olaplex for 12dlls but i paid 25 as if i wantestyle which i didnt, i got olaplex and that was it. then after i ask the lady at the front desk, she said 12 dlls olaplex was only with color added to it, and that even if you get only olaplex you have to pay 25 dlls. not her fault she just works there but they should specified that small FACT of olaplex (with color added) or something not just olaplex 12, olaplex w/style 25. dont think of going back just because it felt very uncomfortable every girl inside that desk starring with no shame.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! Worst experience of my life! I can't blame the students and I get that is it a school and not a 'Professional Hair Salon' but these teachers and staff are suppose to be licensed cosmetologists. I guess if that is the truth, then this school is just cheap. I went in for color and the teacher helped the girl doing my hair 'mix' the color. Little did I know when the 'mix' color that really means they are adding water to it to make it go further. Well I am not a licensed professional by any means but even I know you DO NOT add WATER to hair color. Needless to say it did not take to my hair and I was told 'If I want professional work, go pay professional prices'. So sad that this is what they are teaching these students that are trying to make a career out of it. NEVER again will I go for service at Academy of Hair Design nor would I ever recommend it to anyone else. My advice is to RUN as fast as you can AWAY from Academy of Hair Design! HORRIBLE! They should feel ashamed and embarrassed!
