Abdill Career College Inc graduation rate is above the national average.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Abdill Career College is a school not just for Medical or Dental students, it's also for those who want to be Veterinary Assistants, Office Management, a Secretary, or an Accounting Clerk. This college really tries to help you succeed and get a career right out of the program so you can make more and live a more comfortable life. For me, this school was a nice way to go back to school without having 20+ students in a class and getting overwhelmed because of that. I made a few friends here, which is always a nice thing, but the important part was I got to not only see the material I was learning, but we could also experiment and look at other fields. They even offer a way to switch your program major if you change your mind!Sometimes I feel like the teachers and staff baby the students. There was a bullying issue we had going on, and instead of nipping it in the bud, they had a group meeting, and the bullying still went on afterwards. Sure, I understand the want to try and sit everyone down and be transparent about something like this to everyone, but the way it was presented made it seem more like a kindergarten class getting told why saying things can hurt others feelings. But regardless of that, they're a very nice school that keeps their business together very nicely .Yeah teachers will come and go on the fly, but when they go, they always make sure there's a backup for it, and you still get the material in a realistic manner, and that you understand it.

Overall Rating:

I completed the MA program at Abdill and it was such a good experience. I started with X-ray tech and half way through I decided Medical Assisting was more for me. The school worked with me and helped me switch into the more fitting program with only having to complete one extra term then originally planned. All the staff are awesome, including the management. Everyone is so kind and supportive, they are all their to help you grow and succeed. I got job offers while in my last term and was told by employers they prefer Abdill grads. If I decide to go back for X-ray and/or Phlebotomy Abdill Career Inc will always be my first choice.
